This upcoming summer, Purchase will be offering a wonderful learning opportunity for young actors as part of its Youth & Precollege Programs. The program will be lead by Denise Bessette, cofounder and artistic producer of the Hudson Stage Company, as well as New York-based actress Jane Beller who will be serving as acting instructor. In addition to learning fundamental acting techniques, styles, and skills, students will have the opportunity to experiement with the building blocks of performance through daily classes in improvisation, monologues, and scenes, with the final goal of a performance at the end of the program.
